Nottingham (Eastern Aphelion)

Nottingham SC is based on a broad section of the River Trent and has an active Comet fleet. The open meetings are well attended, normally at least 20 entrants. The club facilities are great, and launching is easy. This is not the norm of our river sailing – there is plenty of room, little current (except in flood conditions), and the course is quite long. Nevertheless, a flight system is deployed if the number of entrants require this. This system works well.
