Chipstead (Eastern Aphelion)

We have been advised that a member of the club will be available the evening before if you need to be let in.

Chipstead has a thriving Comet fleet. There are excellent facilities and launching is easy. Comet opens attract many of the home fleet as well as visitors – over 20 entrants are normal. The open is held jointly with other classes and in 2024 we are again sharing with the Solos. The lake is long and has a narrower section in the middle. It is an interesting and challenging venue – expect hot competition from the locals.
